The Alia2 Foundation has created a collaborative technology platform where free and open code software (FLOSS) can be developed to help combat online child pornography.
If you like programming or you know about data mining or Internet protocols we would be delighted to receive your help
IT collaborators help to us develop free and open code software. This means your contributions are visible to everyone, your authorship will be recognised and no one will be able to gain financially from selling the code you have developed.
You can view the LGPL and GPL licences that we work with at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.txt and http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
How can you help us?
- By statistically analysing large volumes of data.
- By creating small desktop applications for Windows, Linux and Mac.
- By developing web applications for citizen participation.
- By creating automatic content classification filters.
-How can you benefit from collaborating with the Alia2 Foundation?
- Improve your curriculum: you will have the opportunity to work with technologies that are not frequently found in other environments.
- Gain recognition: your contribution will be recognised.
- Work for a good cause: you will help to make the Internet a better place for all.
