Fundacion Alia2

Wednesday the 9th, with the national media arranging interviews and showing an interest in the report Alia2, we received an email from the other side of the water. It was from a journalist at the newspaper “THE VOICE OF THE INTERIOR”, from Córdoba, Argentina. In his email he explained to us that he knew about the presentation of the Report Alia2 and that he was interested in finding out the information relative to his country from the report.

The Press Department got to work to extract the information he requested. Then, the telephone rang again. This time the call was from NTN 24 a television station from Colombia. One of the correspondents of this television station, who was in Spain, approached our headquarters to find out about our work, record some footage of our installations and also an interview with the Director of Foundation Alia2. The next day a correspondent from the Mexican television station, TELEVISA, also visited us.

Our work and the report on child pornography on the internet didn’t only have this impact in Latin America. Far from there, from the other tip of the planet, we received a call of one of the most important agencies in Turkey, the AGENCY ANADOLU. At Foundation Alia2 we have provided information and comparisons for Turkey with others countries in the area and statistics for this country.

They have also expressed an interest in the tool, Florencio, developed by the Foundation Alia2. The work of Alia2 continues to break down frontiers and proves useful outside of Spanish.
